Why Africa, Why Now?
- Youth-driven Innovation: Africa has the youngest population globally, eager to adopt and build with new technologies.
- Untapped Talent: Thousands of developers are entering Web3 in Africa but lack strong ecosystems to build in.
- Global Recognition: Major chains are expanding to Africa (Base, Solana, Lisk, etc.); Neutron must not be left behind.
- Low-cost, High-impact: With modest funding, the impact per dollar in Africa is significantly higher compared to other regions.
Success Metrics
- 20+ active projects deployed on Neutron
- 500+ developers onboarded via IRL events
- 1000+ community members across Neutron Africa channels
- Neutron presence in 8+ African countries
- At least 3 African-led projects receiving follow-on funding
Conclusion
Neutron Africa is a high-leverage initiative to make Neutron the go-to infrastructure for African Web3 builders. With the requested $150,000 grant, we will lay the foundation for long-term ecosystem growth, real-world product launches, and an expanding community of builders and users aligned with Neutron’s vision.
We respectfully request the DAO’s support to bring this vision to life.
